If you are looking for a sailing holiday why not try Sardinia, a paradise for both beginners and advanced sailors. There is sufficient wind and crystal clear seawater. The “Scirocco” wind blows most days in the bay of Santa Lucia, in the mornings 2-3 Beaufort and in the afternoons 4-5 Beaufort. The surface of the water is usually beautifully calm in the summer months, ideal circumstances for beginners. A thermic wind usually comes op around lunchtime, which makes sure that also advanced sailors can eat their heart out! The water temperature in the summer is usually warm enough to sail without a wetsuit. If it should be too chilly for you then Amfibie Treks has wetsuits available.
Optimist sailing course
For children between 6 – 12 years Amfibie Treks offers a sailingcourse in Optimist boats. This little sailing boats are perfect for the first sailing experience. The course lasts for total a of 6 hours (2 hours a day).

Our new RS Quba’s (Laser Pico) are the perfect step between the Optimists and the Dinghy’s and loved by beginners and advanced sailors for their light weight, speed and flexibility. The course is suitable for kids as well as adults and has a duration of 9 or 6 hours, depending on the age of the course participant.

In 3 days you learn the basics of catamaransailing with a Hobie Cat 16. The course lasts for a total of 9 hours (3 hours a day) at the end of which it is possible to obtain the official VDWS certificate.This certificate is recognized worldwide by sailing schools and boat rental companies. The catamaran sailing course is suitable for beginners and advanced.
